OBJECTIVES

Being a director in any organisation today is a tough one, combining legal duties and responsibilities with expectations of successful leadership. The role of director is very different from that of manager.  This course provides a performance improvement template for experienced and new directors alike, as well as those aspiring to the position. It combines a review of the latest governance hot topics with practical tips and advice on how best to discharge the directors’ legal and oversight duties. The board agenda update training course provides examples drawn from headline cases and real-life experience.  Delegates will learn the business benefits and drivers of good governance, and will gain a better understanding of the roles, responsibilities and dynamics of the boardroom. The course caters for delegates from all business sectors.
