The COVID-19 outbreak is affecting every business and individual. Here at Quorum, we want to reassure you that we are adapting our services to help support you as much as possible. On this page you will find links to a range of resources to help you continue to access an extensive range of training for finance and business professionals.

Quorum Live – Our Virtual Classroom Solution

In line with government guidance and home working, we have adapted our face to face training and created a virtual classroom solution – Quorum Live. We understand that engaging your people and continuing professional development is as important as ever during these times and we are committed to supporting your learning and development. Until further notice, all our face to face courses have been transferred to virtual classrooms.

Powered by an online conferencing tool, Zoom, we are able to bring you the latest finance, compliance and regulatory updates in a safe and collaborative environment. Our virtual courses will be delivered by an expert lecturer and remain interactive, allowing you to communicate with attendees, view and discuss presentations, and learn, all from the comfort of your own home.

 


Face-to-face events moving to virtual classrooms


In accordance with current government advice on social distancing and attending mass gatherings, we are transferring our face-to-face events into virtual classrooms until further notice. Our new virtual classrooms provide a live online alternative to attending courses in-person. The will allow you to interact and communicate with other attendees, view and discuss presentations and learn, all from the comfort of your own home.

Where you have booked to attend a face-to-face training event, we will be in touch with you to confirm arrangements for transferring onto an alternative online course.

Where possible, we will keep the scheduled dates and times of these live online sessions the same as you originally booked. Where you have booked to attend a face-to-face training event, we will be contacting you with details of how to access the sessions.

As an alternative we will also provide you with details of how you can access the recorded online equivalent from our extensive online training library. If the online live or recorded options do not work for you, until 31 March, we will offer an alternative date for the course.

If you have arranged an in-house course to take place in the coming weeks, we will contact you to discuss arrangements for these events.

COVID-19 Business Measures – Information Guide


On the 17 March 2020, the UK Government announced a package of measures to support businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have produced a FREE information document that outlines the key measures announced up until 17 March 2020, including:

  • statutory sick pay relief package for SMEs
  • business rates holiday of 12 month for some businesses
  • small business grant funding of £10,000 for all business in receipt of small business rate relief or rural rate relief
  • grant funding for certain retail, hospitality and leisure businesses
  • the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme
  • Time To Pay arrangements
